Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

I grew up in a part of the country where women no longer wear hats, even for Easter. Since moving to Tennessee, Easter Sunday is a veritable showcase of fine dresses, seersucker and great hats straight out of Southern Living. Even yours truly sported a fine bowtie and a cardigan!

After Mass, we gathered up as many of the beautiful Episcopal Hat Ladies as we could find for a photo op! Being fine Southerners, they were all more than happy to continue last year’s tradition!

I hope and pray that you and yours have a restful and joyful Eastertide!
Happy Easter!
